The Space Between is a site-specific light installation developed for a transitional space. Inspired by Bornholms coastal vegetation and the vivid colors of lichen, the project explores how ornament can function as an atmospheric mediator within architecture rather than as decoration.

Through casted glass cylinders referencing geological drill cores, the work translates stratification, time, and movement into a subtle spatial experience that unfolds while passing through the tunnel.
